Julia Rogers 

Julia Rogers began her career as a wildlife painter at the age of seventeen. Her deep passion for the outdoors and its natural beauty is reflected across her diverse portfolio, which includes plein air painting, figurative work, landscapes, and portraiture.

Rogers studied fine art in college and has continued to pursue learning throughout her career, both as a teacher and as a dedicated student. She has conducted workshops and remains committed to refining her craft. Her work has been exhibited at numerous prestigious venues, including the Hiram Blauvelt Museum in Oradell, New Jersey; Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma; Cincinnati Museum Center; Briscoe Western Art Museum; Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum in Wausau, Wisconsin; and the James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art in St. Petersburg, Florida. Many of her pieces are included in permanent museum collections.

She participates annually in prominent exhibitions, including Night of Artists at the Briscoe Western Art Museum; the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition in Charleston, South Carolina, where she was the featured artist in 2022; the Waterfowl Festival in Easton, Maryland, where she was the featured artist in 2017; the Western and Wildlife Art Show at Baltimore Life Insurance in Baltimore, Maryland; and exhibitions at the James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art.

Rogers’ dedication to capturing the essence of wildlife and the natural world, combined with her commitment to continuous study and teaching, has earned her recognition as a leading contemporary wildlife artist.
