Surrounded by wide-open landscapes and the  rhythms of ranch life, Rick developed a deep love for horses and the Western way of life—both of which remain central themes in his artwork.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eRick’s paintings are inspired by the land he knows and loves, as well as his deep ranching roots. His style ranges from loose, impressionistic brushwork rich in color to pieces that showcase fine detail and realism. This variety allows him to capture both the emotional atmosphere and the subtle truths of the Western experience.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eHis journey as an artist began with an art scholarship, which led him to study Fine Art at the University of Utah. It was there he gained a broader appreciation for all forms of art. Over the years, Rick has also drawn inspiration from established Western artists, attending numerous workshops to refine his skills and techniques. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eThrough dedicated practice and countless hours at the easel, Rick continues to experiment and grow as an oil painter.
