Kenny McKenna 

Kenny McKenna’s work encompasses a wide range of subjects, with a particular focus on landscapes. Working exclusively in oils, he employs an impressionistic style that conveys warmth, calm, and an inviting sense of sunlight, encouraging viewers to explore his scenes with ease and reflection.

McKenna’s appreciation for expansive landscapes developed during family road trips across the United States, where visits to both the West and East Coasts exposed him to diverse environments. The desert vistas, canyons, and colors of the Southwest left a lasting impression during travels to California. His journeys continued throughout his life as a musician, earning him inductions into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame, the South Dakota Rock and Roll Music Hall of Fame, and the Iowa Rock and Roll Music Hall of Fame.

His artwork has been exhibited at prestigious venues, including Masters of the American West at the Autry Museum of the American West in Los Angeles; Small Works, Great Wonders at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City; and Night of Artists at the Briscoe Western Art Museum. McKenna’s paintings have been featured in Art of the West, Southwest Art, and Western Art Collector.

He is represented by Legacy Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona; McLarry Fine Art in Santa Fe; Settlers West in Tucson; and Astoria Fine Art in Jackson, Wyoming. McKenna resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
