Mark Kohler is an award-winning watercolorist whose work seeks to capture the independent spirit, pride, and vision of the American West. “We have a rich and unique history, and it is worthy of preservation,” he says, a philosophy reflected in every piece he creates.
His artwork is included in private and corporate collections across the United States and around the world. Kohler has been featured in numerous high-profile publications, including Southwest Art, Art of the West, Western Art Collector, Western Horseman, and Art & Architecture. He has also self-published two coffee-table books showcasing his work.
Kohler maintains a growing clientele for commissioned pieces in both watercolor and oil, specializing in timeless portraits that create lasting family memories. His atelier-style workshops are highly sought after, and he has expanded his creative offerings to include hand-crafted custom knives and frames.
