Kevin Chupik* 

For more than twenty-five years, Kevin Chupik has been a professional exhibiting artist whose practice reflects the diverse landscapes and cultural intersections of the American Southwest. Throughout his time living in the region, he has cultivated a distinctive visual language that merges traditional Western iconography with elements of vintage modernity. His paintings often incorporate subtle irony and humor, creating nuanced conceptual narratives. Through these narrative vignettes, Chupik aims to “cut fresh trail” into the Contemporary Western genre by blending aspects of pop and surrealist art with classic Western themes.

Chupik’s original works and prints are collected throughout the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia. He holds a Master of Art in Painting and Drawing from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Texas Christian University.
