Caroline Korbell Carrington

Caroline Korbell Carrington grew up in a family that values the land and wildlife of Texas. She spent many of her formative years in the Texas Hill Country, where she began creating works of art. Over time, art became a passion that led to her successful career as a landscape painter.

“I am so privileged to be able to not only enjoy the outdoors and the beautiful scenery found in the Southwest, but also to immerse myself in these images by capturing them on canvas.”

Carrington graduated from Texas Christian University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting. She later spent time in New Mexico working alongside prominent landscape painters, including the late David Barbero. Over the years, she has experimented with many different media, with oil on canvas remaining her primary focus. She continues to paint landscape scenes from the western United States, with a particular emphasis on Texas.

Caroline Korbell Carrington works alongside her husband, sculptor William Carrington, in their home studio.
